Super Junior member Kyuhyun talked about how he overcame initial hostility from the other Super Junior members as a newcomer with ramyeon.
On KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together” aired on the 4th, Kyuhyun said when he first joined Super Junior, the original members were wary of him at first. He said he overcame this wariness by preparing them ‘ramyeon.’
‘I think this happens to the youngest members in all idol groups. The older members want to check you out first before accepting you. They try to boss you around and make you prepare ramyeon for them. I prepared ramyeon for them but it was so awful that they never asked me again.”
“I was the 13th member in a group that already had 12 members so of course they were going to be wary of my arrival. I spent the first nine months hopping around the dormitory because I didn’t have a place of my own.”
